Extended length project (2 aircraft) but enjoyable every minute.
Initially, JamieKugelmann (forum member) requested a repaint on the C172 VH-CCU in the livery of the Latrobe Valley Flying Club, stationed at Latrobe Valley Airport (YLTV) in the far outskirts of Melbourne, Australia. With a couple of photos, we went to work and created a 'clean' version and a somewhat 'worn' version for Jamie. This, BTW, is the bird Jamie is leaning to fly in.

Needless to say, training birds are not usually pristine, get their bumps and bruises, and in this case some labels on various components. With photos Jamie supplied, we produced a more realistic (IMHO) version of VH-CCU.

THEN:
Matt Jensen, another forum member and another student pilot at YLTV requested the painting of the bird he is learning to fly in (another Latrobe Valley Flying Club C172 - VH-LVT). Matt, his trusty GoPro (and cell phone) supplied some great photos of the real bird. We did a clean version first:

And of course, no bird EVER looks like it did the day it was manufactured.....So, here is what she really looks like according to the photos Matt supplied:
(my rendition of those photos, at least)

Hi chaps,
I was wondering if those of you with far more talent than I could reproduce the Humber Flying Club's C172 (technically and F172 as she was build in Reims) G-BAIW as a skin for the A2A Acusim C172 please, I am flying this slighty tired looking (living outside in the UK will do that to you) but solid airplane in real life and would love to have her in FSX
This link will provide a few photos to work from and I have a few more lying around, don't worry too much about the interior (as long as it says G-BAIW in the cockpit) I would just like the exterior looking something like.

It was a glorious day too which helped, though flying into the low afternoon sun on the way down was interesting.ebo wrote:Please. Re: REQUESTED PAINTS
Sure, I can help with this one, if you are not in a hurry. I am currently busy with some paints for the Connie.
Send me a PM and I'll answer with my email for you to send me the photos. I have downloaded the ones I could find on the net. It would be great to get a real good shot of the logo on the tail.
