It's been a while since I looked at these files ... but ... do you have Photoshop? Can you see all the layers? It sounds like you've opened the file in something else and it's flattened the image into one layer <?>.

Adam.
Oh it's a layer! I'll pop up my layer window in Gimp the next time I try :)
Ron Attwood wrote:Sticks nose in. The .psd file contains the registration N7274H as a 'remainder'. Click on the eye symbol next to it and it disappears leaving you with a clean sheet. When you do your own paint, make a new Group and add your new layers to that group. Hope that helps. :)
Hahaha that's usefull so I know where I'm supposed to paint what :P

Gonna make a cool repaint in the following few days :)

Man that is one massive paintkit, my poor little ASUS GS74SX gaming laptop can't even open it. I've never seen a kit that was 315mb. Maybe it's just because I'm using Paintshop Pro & not photoshop, has anyone had any luck using PSP?

Which version of PaintShop Pro? There's a link in the original thread for older versions of PSP.

My slow/old laptop opens it fine in Photoshop (CS5). Have you got enough spare space on your laptop HD for a buffer/scratch area?

The advantage of only the one main file is that you don't have to worry about texture joins etc. - you can work on the whole image. Particularly useful for doing stripes!

It seems as Paint Shop Pro just didn't like the image (which happens with photoshop files occasionally). I even tried it on my desktop which has 32GB of memory and it wouldn't open it either. Fortunately I have an older version of photoshop that was able to open the file, once opened I just separated out the layers into BMP's and rebuilt the layered kit in Paint Shop Pro so it all worked out. I must say after dealing with some other templates this one is laid out very nicely, it's my first repaint of an A2A aircraft and I'm liking what I see so far!

Thanks!

Hi! The link for the paint kit doesn't seem to work for me. Is this just me or is there a problem with the link? If there is a problem with the link, where else can I download the paint kit? :) Thanks
