Had some fun flying 8 India Lima (one of the first repaints I ever downloaded for the C172 and still one of my favorites) in Oregon today at OG39 and 49OR...

Slip to a landing...

I assume you survived then Joe. Was this the old banger you got going, did it like the sudden full power to go around?

I did survive, lol. At that point I had committed to land (I had my throttle hand hovering over the "v" key to snap a pic, so couldn't go around) and somehow made it over the cow as I stalled and landed safely... I do have crash detection on, fwiw.

This is still the beat up plane I've been breaking (I do, however, use all different paint schemes and options on it- I'm not fussy), but I have let the maintenance guys fix up the engine and systems for now as it was getting near impossible to enjoy a nice relaxing scenic flight ;)

But my nose wheel tire I refuse to fix, and I'm waiting to find out if a blowout is simulated, or at the very least to see what happens when it fails. Maybe I'll stop flaring on landing to hasten this experiment lol
