European Flying

Post by Pilot Chris »

Hi Guys
Firstly, totally blown away by the level of detail already shown to us in your recent videos and screenshots. So a massive thank you for the hard work you have done in bringing this aircraft to our computer.
Secondly, as a flyer in Europe (the uk to be exact) will your Cessna come with the option to select a Hecta pascal (formerly millibar) Altimeter ? As opposed to an inches calibrated one.

Visa card on immediate standby !!

Yes, both hPa and inHg are available.

Reminds me of the old joke:

ATC: 'American 626, descend and maintain 3000 feet, QNH 1014.'
Pilot: 'American 626 is unfamiliar with the system, can I have that in inches?'
ATC: 'American 626, descend and maintain 36000 inches, QNH 1014'

Sorry for bringing the old topic up. Can anyone please advise, how do I switch the Altimeter calibration scale to hPa? I can see the hPa's in the pop-up, but is it possible to change the scale itself? I can see it in the vc_gxml.dds texture sheet, can I activate it in-game without any bothering with Photoshop?

It changes when you switch the systems in the weight and balance menu.
