Background music is In Dulce Decorum from The Damned.

In-game mods that are not 2.05 stock are clearer canopy glass from Smokin256, modified RAF flybys from Tiger_33 and modified .303 browning from me and Tako Kichi.

My last video, have spend quite a few hours on this one, researching into a few of my documentaries, playing missions, recording it, discarting lots of the missions, playing new ones, and still could have been done a lot better, however this was taking lots of my time so i decided i had to finish it before i started spending all day on it !!

As i said, just like if you were playing BoB and while playing you were taken back to 1940. And a little tribute to the Few.

I know it could have done much better but boy would that have taken an amazing lot of time, and im only in my first "video making" stages!

Starts as the Luftwaffe is getting a big raid ready, scramble for Raf, dogfights, and finally the Spìt and Hurri go back to base, sort of thing.

Hope you like it.

Comments like yours are appreciated Bader, doing just a 9 miute video could take lots of hours, just going through documentaries, recording dogfights in bob2, choosing the right bits of video, editing, putting it together, etc... etc..., also trying to sort of match up scenes between the game play and back in 1940 to do the "flashback" makes you research a lot more, takes hours, i was at it all night and went to bet at 7 in the morning.... good thing my girlfriend is in England now ! haha.... and we are just learning still with the video thing. So comments like yours put a smile in my face as a reward! also critics are good too. Helps you learning a bit more. But learning is slow !

I actually quite like the first dogfight where the Spit is moving to get behind the 109, with the classic music on seems to me the Spit is dancing !

Take care,

Spitfireace.

SpitFireAce,
Great video. I forwarded it to a friend who was a P-47 pilot in the 316th Fighter Squadron with my oldest brother. He has bumper stickers on his cars that say, "I'd rather be flying a P-47". I think he, too, will enjoy it.

Cool preview video off Over Flanders Field (freeware add-on to CFS3) Phase II.

Scroll down to the "Recent Developments" section where it says "OFF Preview Movie."

Convoy Attack - Phase I

Post by Manta »

Hi, and happy new year to all,

this footage has been taken from one of the first combat days during the Luftwaffe campaign. It''s a long movie intended not to be an eye candy exhibition, but what the player may expect to actually "live and feel" giving himself up to this beautiful sim.

Hope you like it

Cheers

I think you need to register before download it, don't worry it's safe.

Manta, alot of people simply will not register at another site just to view a video.

You may want to try to post your video at YouTube or GoogleVideo. Only you need to be a member to upload videos but anyone else can then watch your video without having to join or log in. Alot more people will see you video that way. You can also then add links to watch it at your forum(s).

ok thanks, I'm registered in You Tube, but I'm afraid it is too long to upload it there.

BTW I have to check it.

Cheers

Ok, D/L'ing now. I was clicking on the little hard drive icon instead of the file name and that was taking me to a login screen.

That is FANTASTIC Manta !!!!!!

You really have to get this on YouTube.

If you want I can convert it to MPEG4 and do it for you. I will make sure it is clear you are the author as well. The only problem if I do it is that it will likely lose too much resolution since I don't have your original source files.

If you don't have a program to convert to MPEG4, you can download Ulead Video Studio 10 Trial version. It is free and works for 30 days.
www.ulead.com

Using that you can convert it to an mpeg4 at 650X480, 30FPS, Video Bitrate 1800 or 2000 and audio at 192 Kbps. Then upload to YouTube where they convert it to 320X240.

Let me know.
