Interesting early war bravado from bomber pilots after they were PWND by Hurris and Spits in BoB (?);)
Any landing you can walk away from is a good one!

Tangmere Pilots video

I'll probably cop a packet for this, but this is the newest TP video.

In my defence, a number of TPs enjoy BOB2. In fact, it was one of them who convinced me to buy BOB2.

Not at all. Nice video.
"Ah yes, Michael (Parkinson)," Bader replied, "But these particular Fockers were Messerschmitts..."

Triad,

The stuka film is really fascinating. Not only from showing the opposite viewpoint of Germany, and obviously from when flying a stuka was not such an exercise in survival as it was later. But from a simmers viewpoint it has really nice close ups of internals, open maintenance panels, and shows how certain equipment was used. It also provided a lot of shots of uniforms and ground equipment. I only with I understood German.

Hi Redband- yes I know very little German, but the action was enough to keep my attention for most of it. I'd think for someone who knows the language it'd be even more interesting. The bravado was the part that struck me, but then hey- it's authentic Goebels propaganda.

Some excellent videos there... is there anywhere I can download these in .avi or similar format?

The thing is, I am compiling airwar machinima movies into a video collection suitable for burning on a DVD and watching it on a TV set. They have much entertainment value for me. So far I have been able to gather loads of Il2 videos but no BoB2.

So you would prefer much higher resolution than you get via YouTube, I would guess?

Yes.

The videos I have gathered from Il2 were 100MB and of course better quality (I believe some Firefox add-ins exist that can download Youtube videos and such but that would not do due to low resolution).

Just a side note: I have terminated my account in youtube due some very strange/lots of spam received there. Thus, that URL is obsolete, including "Ninth Variation". I know most of you got even the hi-res version so this is no issue here, I hope.
Right now I am in process to update my rig, in a few weeks I plan to get some uTube account back online when the new rig is functional and I have finished my next idea which simply was not possible to implement with my current steam machine. Just a small one, nothing like 'Ninth Variation'. More like an ad, I just cannot get it outta my head
Still eagerly waiting for flight sim video folks to give BoBIIWoV what she deserves :D
