We have a ton of pics but as Scott's bandwidth is already strained because of his major release of the Cub for FSX, we'll add them in stages.

Those pics are a real beauty! My computer is in need of a over haul thus I am not flying at the moment and relying on the feedback, to enjoy the update through other's expierence. Hopefully I'll be flying within a month or two, but meanwhile, thank you for posting. Very exciting what is happening to BOB WOV. Though I have an original CD, ordered a new one (misplaced the first one), and it is quaking in it boots to get going. Meanwhile, I'll sit on the curb and watch the parade.

Sorry to hear you are grounded for the moment, Zorro. we need every good man in the air. Jerry is a tricky devil.

I'll post some more in a little while.

Bader, how do you have your settings configured in PC and More GFX?

Also, when flying: how to you go to a view of the enemy, and cycle through their planes?

Lovely shots BTW ;)

Happy to oblige.

Cntrl I is the default key for cycling through aircraft.

The settings that will make the most difference to the way the ground looks are
More GFX-> Ground Object Density (Full for 100% of the objects)
Adding Autogen trees
setting Anisotropic Filtering to at least 8x to eliminate shimmering.

I am not sure if you have a specific issue. If you do, them it may be best to open a topic on it.

Ctrl+F1 - padlock nearest enemy / press again to cycle
Vtrl+F2 - same forfriendlies
Alt+F6 - view padlocked object, if I remember correctly

Check also the Roving Camera (Alt+V). More in the manual in Views section.

Great pics Bader. I love the new Chichester Cathedral. I recognised it straight off. Well done with that.

One question on views: when zooming in to an aircraft the zoom stops quite a way from the aircraft. Is there a setting that sets the closest view distance from an aircraft? I'd like to get closer to the aircraft :)

Thanks,

Battler

Hi Battler. The setting is in the .bdg file.

"External_View_Starting_Distance = 1.300000 #Sets the starting distance from the A/C in external view NOTE: set to 1.3 to get the old distance"

Find the line and adjust to the distance to suit.

Hi chaps,

Great shots Paul, I've posted these before but some Stukas with wheel spat lettering and alternative tail hakenkreuze positioning (as shown on the 2nd picture) which were added late in development and thus don't appear in early dev screenshots.

Stab III/StG1 and 7. StG1.

6. StG2.

4. StG 2.

Hi,

Great work with the new patch. I have just started playing BoB again and I am greatly impressed. Keep up the good work.
